Worship is a sacred time when the people are led by the Holy Spirit to pray (Romans 8:22-26) and to worship God (1 Corinthians 14:25). This happens both in public and in private. As the church, we practice public worship because being a Christian is not a solo activity. Worshiping together encourages us in our relationship with God through Christ Jesus, but also connects us to other Christians who are seeking and following Jesus.
